Works around your schedule

We only need a few minutes of your time each month to complete surveys. You can do these on your mobile or computer, so it fits around your plans.

You’ll also have the opportunity to take part in face-to-face focus groups which will take longer than the surveys.

Both the face-to-face focus groups and surveys are optional, so if you don’t have an opinion on the topic or are too busy to help, you don’t have to. Saying no won’t mean you can’t take part in the future, we’ll still invite you to participate.

You are under no obligation to stay with the Citizens’ Panel for any longer than you wish. You can ask to be removed from the Panel at any time or you can delete your account.

We want to hear from everyone

FAQs

What is the Citizens’ Panel?

The NHS is one the UK’s proudest achievements and every day hundreds of people are successfully treated and cared for by dedicated staff.

But health and care needs are changing. People are living longer and many of us have long-term conditions such as diabetes.

New ways of treating conditions are being discovered and advances in technology are helping us communicate in different ways.

To meet these challenges, organisations that provide health and care services in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland are working together to improve services. They are working to coordinate services better and keep people healthier and out of hospital. To do this it is essential we have greater involvement of patients, the public and stakeholders.

We have developed the Citizens’ Panel, to complement the other ways we involve people, to listen and learn from local residents. By sharing your feedback and opinions, you can help us to design and deliver care that takes into account what matters to people. The panel will be representative of the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland population and therefore feedback will be in tune with the attitudes of the entire population making it more robust.
